15 July 2026, Baku: Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov met with a delegation led by Peter Kažimír, Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia, who is visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the significant potential for cooperation in regulating capital markets and the insurance sector, modernizing supervisory frameworks, ensuring financial stability, increasing financial literacy, combating digital fraud, and improving consumer rights protection mechanisms was emphasized.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on initiatives to strengthen institutional relations and deepen cooperation.
