The Central Bank issued gold commemorative coins with the nominal value of 100 manat into circulation in 2013 with respect to country-wide celebration of the 90th anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Alirza Aliyev.

The commemorative coins were minted at the “Royal Mint” of Great Britain.

The face of the coin depicts the name, portrait and signature of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, the back presents the words “The Republic of Azerbaijan”, the map of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the release date and nominal of the commemorative coin.

The commemorative coin is a legal tender in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
