Award for 50 manat banknote recognized as the "Best New Banknote in the World" presented to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan
12 May 2022, Baku: On 22 February 2022, the International Association of Currency Affairs (IACA, USA) held an international conference in Washington, DC with the participation of the world's leading central banks and the upgraded 50 manat banknote of Azerbaijan was awarded the title of “Best New Banknote in the World” for its theme, design and security systems.
Within the framework of the Global Currency Forum 2022 held in Spain on 2-5 May 2022, the winners were delivered their awards and the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented the award (cup) for 50 manat banknote recognized as the "Best New Banknote in the World".
