16 October 2023, Baku: On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a press tour was organized to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) Office of the Central Bank for the representatives of the leading media bodies of the country. 

The participants of the event first visited the bust of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev located in Nakhchivan city and laid flowers in front of it. Then, in the museum named after the great leader, they got acquainted with photos and exhibits related to the life and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Later, a press tour was organized for journalists of local television and media to the Central Bank’s Nakchivan AR Office. The journalists got acquainted with the work and structural units of the Office. Presentations were made to the media representatives by the employees of the Nakhchivan AR Office of the Central Bank. During the presentations, the work done in the direction of the development of banking and financial institutions and increase of financial literacy in the Autonomous Republic was discussed. The participants of the event also got acquainted with important points about the functions performed by the Office, as well as its important role in the socio-economic life of the Autonomous Republic.

After the press tour to the Nakhchivan AR Office of the Central Bank, the participants visited the Nakhchivan State University and received detailed information about the university's activities.
