2 October 2025, Baku: The Central Bank conducted a training session to increase the financial awareness and professional skills of media representatives.

The training, organized in the form of a presentation, was dedicated to the topic "Systemically Important Financial Institutions and Their Role in the Financial System." Participants were provided with detailed information on the criteria for determining the systemic importance of banks and insurers, as well as the procedure for calculating the systemic importance index.

During the interactive presentation, the presenters answered questions from the media representatives, and held discussions on initiatives aimed at the development of financial markets.

The Central Bank is committed to strengthening professional cooperation with media institutions, one of its main target groups, and to increasing journalists’ knowledge of economics, finance, and central banking.
