22 April 2026, Baku: The Central Bank places great importance on promoting the development of the digital financial technologies ecosystem, raising awareness in this area, and developing human capital. As part of these initiatives, the Central Bank organized a training program titled "Financial Technologies and Digital Transformation" for students at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, which are among the country's leading higher education institutions.
The program, which was attended by approximately 100 students, included training sessions on the following topics: "Managing the Economy with Numbers," "Digital Financial Products," "Payment Systems and Innovations," "Data Management," and "Virtual Asset Regulation" During the training sessions, participants were presented with current approaches, practical knowledge, and real-world examples in these areas.
During the sessions led by Central Bank representatives, students had the opportunity to learn about innovations, modern challenges, and solutions in the digital financial ecosystem. The program also fostered interactive discussions, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the topics.
At the end of the program, the participants received certificates.
