13 October 2026, Baku: A delegation led by Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, met with Timur Ishmetov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, as part of a working visit to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, they discussed the macroeconomic situation in both countries, emerging challenges and other issues of mutual interest.

The two sides welcomed the current level of cooperation between the central banks and discussed ways to expand the exchange of expertise and strengthen bilateral ties.
