9 December 2025, Baku: Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank, spoke at the 'Capital Market and IPO: the way to development' event held as part of the Business Talks by PASHA Holding initiative, organized by PASHA Holding and with the partner support of Deloitte Azerbaijan.
Sharing his views on the government’s vision for capital markets, Governor of the Central Bank stated that the development of capital markets has become a strategic priority. He emphasized that as a result of the reforms outlined in the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026, new instruments have already entered the market and initial public offering processes have become more accessible, thereby increasing investor interest.
In this session moderated by Nuran Karimov, Managing Partner of Deloitte Azerbaijan, Governor Kazimov emphasized the importance of strengthening trust in the sector: "One of the areas we have identified as a strategic priority is increasing trust in the sector and expanding awareness-raising activities. We hold regular information sessions, meetings, and trainings for sector participants and investors."
The event continued with a speech by Jalal Gasimov, CEO of PASHA Holding. He said that capital markets are one of the main indicators of a country's economic depth and economic sustainability.
