3 March 2026, Baku: The Central Bank will suspend the operation of the AniPay mobile application and the anipay.az website as of March 4, 2026.

This decision was made to promote competition and development in the digital payments market. Starting from the aforementioned date, financial sector participants are expected to continue providing similar services. Thus, the AniPay functions are already available in mobile banking applications.

The suspension of the AniPay application and website will generate new opportunities for participants in the country's financial sector, accelerating the development of innovative solutions and increasing competition.

This decision is part of the Central Bank's development strategy to promote payment services. It will encourage banks and other payment service providers to participate more actively in the market.

The Central Bank will continue to prioritize healthy competition, innovative solutions, and sustainable development within the digital payment ecosystem.
